Town Crier Week of October 27th

Mon. Oct. 28-  The Charrette Committee will meet at 7:00 pm-It is important that all members attend

Tues.  The Chichester Historical Society will hold its weekly meeting from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm-the museum will also be open to the public

Tues.  Special guest at the library at Story Hour-  10:45 am- Come read to Rafer, the therapy dog!  

Wed.  The Knitting Circle will meet at 3:30 pm at the library and the Chichester Garden Club will meet at 7:00 pm-open to all!

           The Selctmen and School Board will hold a joint meeting to discuss the upcoming budget goals for the respective budgets at 5:30pm in Room 127 at CCS

Thurs.  The Cemetery Trustees will meet at 5:30 pm at the Town Offices

Thurs-  B.C.E.P. will meet at 6:00 pm at the facility

Thurs. Oct. 31st is Halloween!  Chichester Trick or Treating will take place from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm- please drive carefully & watch for people on the streets!

Sat. Nov. 2 - The Library will hold a book sale from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm downstairs in the Community Room.

  Also on Saturday, upstairs at the library, there will be a reception for artist Bill Whitman, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon- his works will be displayed on the walls -talk to the artist and have the opportunity to purchase a work of art!

VOTER REGISTRATION IN CHICHESTER!  Are you registered to vote?  The 2020 Presidential Primary is expected to be a very busy election.  Registering to vote prior to the election will eliminate waiting in lines.  The last Presidential Primary, Chichester had 1,300 voters at the polls.  Come into the Town Clerks Office to register to vote for the 2020 primary.  The date for the Presidential Primary has not been set at this time (Oct. 22, 2019)  The probably date is Feb. 11, 2020.   Chichester Town Clerk & Tax Collector, 64 Main St. Chichester, NH 03258

The Chichester School Board, Sau53.org is seeking members for the Budget Committee.  The Chichester Central School is seeking interested applicants for boys and girls grades 5/6 & 7/8 basketball coaches & Middle School cheer teams.  Call CCS for information 798-5651.

Save the date & time- Sat. Nov 9th- there will be a special reception at the library from 10:00 am to noon -Carolee Davison will be receiving a special award from the NH Library Trustees Association-check next week for details.
