Town Crier Week of June 16, 2019

Mon.  The library.will host a new group starting today.,  The library has purchased an American Mahjong game and another person has offered one for people joining the group.  It will be from 2:30 pm to 4:30.  No experience necessary-tiles provided.

Mon. The Lovers of the Chichester Library will meet at 7:00 pm in the Community room. Stop in and see if this group is for you-helping with the book sales, summer reading program and other events to benefit the library.

Tues.  The Board of Selectmen will meet at 6:30 pm at the town hall.  Abatements will be discussed as well as other agenda items.

Wed. This is the last day for school for CCS students.  If you are thinking about what your child can do this summer, bring them to the library Tues. June 25th- from 10:30am to 1:30 pm

This is the kickoff for the Summer Reading Program "Universe of Stories."  There will several stations for kids to visit-maybe build a "fizzy rocket" and other fun things.  It will be held rain or shine.  Pickup a list of the activities for the entire summer reading program-there will be prizes & a wonderful event at the end of the program.

Wed.  The Agriculture Commission will meet at 7:00 pm 

Thurs. The Chichester Heritage Commission will host a presentation from Andrew Cushing from the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance at 7:00 pm at the Grange Hall.  He will present 'Historic Preservation in NH" for obsolete buildings.  It is free, open to the public and refreshments will be served.

Fri. Trustees of the Trust will meet at 9:00 am at the town offices.

Fri.  Be at the library at 3:00 pm- coffee & supplies for coloring are provided.  Also an opportunity to relax in the reading room with a newspaper or magazine and "fill in a piece of the puzzle."

Sat.  The Chichester Grange will have a Penny Sale" at the Chichester Methodist Parish Hall (next to the church) from 11:00 am to noon.  At noon, there will be sandwiches, chips & drinks available for a light luncheon.  Parking is free and available across the street.
