          To the Residents of Bear Hill Road and East Ricker Road,

          The Chichester Highway Department will be conducting a road reconstruction project on Bear Hill and East Ricker on or about October 01, 2021. This project will consist of removal of dead trees, ditch line work and repair, culvert installation, road reclamation, adding of gravels and stone, grading, compaction, and the subsequent paving of these roads.

The work zone will be from Ferrin Road at Bear Hill Road to the Town Line on East Ricker Road. There will also be work on the intersections of Ferrin and Durgin Roads. Temporary closures and delays should be expected. Access during construction will be constrained and limited to residents of those streets. The road will reopen in the evenings.

The duration of this project is undetermined at this point. Of course, the project will be weather dependent and could cause delays in the completion of work.
