ASSISTANT TOWN CLERK & TAX COLLECTOR

The Town of Chichester is seeking a part time Assistant Town Clerk & Tax Collector. General duties include assisting in processing motor vehicle & boat registrations, vital records, dog licenses, voter registrations, elections, collection of taxes, preparing reports, and performing basic secretarial duties. Knowledge of secretarial practices and procedures, basic accounting and computer skills, strong customer service orientation with good communication skills, detail-orientated and a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. Compensation is commensurate with qualifications. Applications will be accepted until position is filled.
