Town Crier week of July 21, 2019

The Chichester Town Clerk was given notice that on July 12, 2019, Governor Sununu signed into law HB 391 which requires a current  Photo ID be presented for all Registration permits and Certificate of Title applications.  If you have questions, contact the Town Clerk at 798-5808.

Mon July 22- The newly formed Mahjong group meets at the library at 2:30pm- no experience required and tiles are provided.  Adults are encouraged to stop by and see what this fun game of skill entails.

Mon.  There will be a special meeting of The Road Advisory Committee at 6:00-Meet at the Town Sheds.  Will be walking Bear Hill Rd. for 2020 reconstruction bids.

Tues. The Historical Society will meet at 9:00am at the Historical Society

Tues.  The Selectmen will meet at 6:30 pm at the Town Offices.

Wed.  The library hosts the Knitting Circle at 3:30 pm-open to all-bring a project or be a "first-timer."  All are welcome

Thurs.  The B.C.E.P.  will meet at 6:00 pm at the facility.

Fri.  Relaxation time at the library at 3:00 pm-Color & Coffee (or cold beverage)  new adult coloring books have been donated

Next Wed., there will be a meeting at 6:00 pm at the library for teenagers interested in meeting and planning & doing activities as a group.  Many members of the current Teen Group will be moving on to college and new membership is needed.  Talk to a friend or come by yourself-all teens are welcome.

If you did not see the sign at the Chichester school, there is a new Principal.  Mr. Beaverstock was given a terrific send-off for his wonderful time at the school.  Mrs. Jessica Richardson is the new principal.  There will be a time to meet her as school time draws near.

If your child is in need of a backpack, The Out of Your Attic Thrift Shop, Rte 28, near the Pittsfield line, is taking requests for backpacks.  Stop in and register or call to register, 247-7191.
