Mon.  May 27th Memorial Day is celebrated -the Library & Town Offices will be closed.  Remember our Veterans & say Thank You

The Charrette Committee will meet at 7:00 pm   

Wed.  The Chichester Garden Club will meet at the Library at 7:00 pm-  Stop in & share your ideas for a great garden this summer!

Fri. The Chichester Grange will hold a memorial day service at 6:30 pm at the Grange Hall.  Jimmy Pappas will do a short reading regarding Vietnam.  Stop by and celebrate our Veterans on the actual Memorial Day!

Fri. Sat. & Sun the Multi-Town Yard Sale takes place- 8:00am to 2:00 pm  Questions regarding maps, etc. 435-6346

Sat.  June 1st- the Library Down-Under Book Store is having their summer kick-off sale 8:00  am to 1:00 pm- perfect chance to pick up your "beach readers."

Several sections have moved to different locations-take the time to browse & see all the different choices.  DVD's are now in the main room & sheet music is available.  There is also a special section by the back door for "Free" books.  There may even be a few plants left for sale!

Plan ahead-Monday, June 3rd- representatives from Fish & Game will have a presentation on Black Bears-in the Library Community room at 7:00 pm.  There will be fur exhibits & tracking- Great for kids & adults- no sign-up required-

Sat. June 8th-the Fire Station will host a yard sale -info next week

Mon. June 10th- You can sign up now for a basket-making class-to be held at the library at 5:30pm  Registration is required-the cost is $12.00 as this will be a large basket.  You can call in to register 798-5613 or stop in.

The Concord Homeless Resource Center is asking for seasonal items:  Sunscreen, bug repellent, tick repellent, chap stick, & ponchos.  You can leave these items at The Out of Your Attic Thrift Shop in Chichester (Rte 28 North, next to Parker's)  You can also leave items for the Liberty House Veterans in Manchester-  simply mark the bag who it should go to and it will be delivered  The Attic is also a drop-off point for food for the Chichester Food Pantry.
