Project Timeline

Phase I

• Create a stone/granite planter around the existing Grange Hall/Town Hall message sign
• Determine bounds/markers for land owned by Town in area of work
• Talk with abutting property owner on West side as to SW marker and clearing "green space".
• Clean out "green space" area on West side
• Discuss phases of work with Heidi Marshall, Consulting Engineer
• Dialog with DOT

Phase II

• Continue dialog with Heidi Marshall and Dist. 5 (DOT)
• Obtain a "plan" from Heidi with conceptual sketches
• Have material to hand out, conceptual drawings for town meeting in March, 2016

Phase III

• Improve Memorial Park
• Install curbing around Park
• Update landscaping to included a Christmas tree Improve Parking lot area
• Replace existing stairs between upper and lower parking areas
• Install appropriate lighting for safety and aesthetics Landscape West and South sides of parking lot Crosswalk
• Provide a "paved" walkway on the North and South sides of Main Street with length to be determined by DOT and consulting engIneer
• Provide a pedestrian crosswalk to be determined by DOT and consulting engineer
• Create a grass/landscaped barrier "island" on South side with fencing/granite posts

Phase IV

• Repave complete parking lot and line all the parking spaces
• Any additional markings for handicapped parking, in/out directionals, etc.
• PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WORK UNDER EACH PHASE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE, ADDITIONS, SUBTRACTIONS AND MOVEMENT AS TALKS WITH THE CONSULTING ENGINEER AND DOT CONTINUE.
• ENTRANCE and EXIT POINTS FOR THE PARKING LOT ARE STILL UNDER DISCUSSION AND CONSIDERATION AT THIS POINT.

Phase V

• Construction of gazebo in SW corner plantings of flowers/flower boxes
