] Girl Scouts: Tom Jameson stated that the Girl Scouts had gotten permission from the Selectmen to have a fire in the fire pit at Carpenter Park for the camp out. The Girl Scouts requested that storage space be allocated to them in the Community Building since they hold regular activities in the park. The Commission approved the Girl Scout’s use of storage space on the second floor unanimously.
] Trash: The Commission discussed “carry in/ carry out” policy for trash. It was decided the trash cans will not be available except at when the snack shack is open since Chichester Youth Association (CYA) pays for the dumpster. They should bring the trash to the dumpster at the end of the day to prevent trash build up and animals from pick the trash. Trash cans may be used for special events with prior approval.
] Kiosk: Zack Boyajian purchased the display cabinet for the Kiosk as approved in April. He reported that shipping was higher than expected. Ewen motioned to increase the approved expenditure to $282.75 from the $250 amount approved in April. Joe Seconded. The increased expenditure was approved unanimously.
] Playground Fund Raising: Jon White updated the Commission on the fund-raising efforts. The CYA is still planning on accepting donations for the playground. The bingo event at Old Home Day (OHD) became too complicated with requirement of the NH Gaming Commission. Other ideas will be pursued.
] OHD Preparation: An additional electric circuit for the pavilion would be useful for OHD. Zack will contact Jodi to see if she can locate an electrician to install the extra circuit.
