Learn how dog-sledding developed In New Hampshire and the roll of the Chinook In this story. This New Hampshire Humanities Council program Is presented by Bob Cottrel, curator of the Henney History Room at the Conway Public Library. Bob serves as an independent history and museum consultant. His Chinook may accompany him in this program.

Join Historical Society members and friends for food and conversation at this historic site located on Depot Road off Route 28. Depot Road Bridge, a.k.a. "Thunder Bridge", was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2005 and is under the stewardship of the Historical Society. View the new historical marker. Bring your own sandwich; beverages and desserts will be provided by the Historical Society. If inclement weather, the picnic will be held at the Museum, 49 Main St.
Leavitt Cider Mill is a long time Pittsfield landmark currently owned by Laurie Houle. Many gallons of cider have been pressed by this old fashion cider mill. Laurie will shart the history and lore connected with this historic landmark.

This program, presented by Beverly Weir-Longacre covers the fascinating much loved ornaments and related Christmas items that we cherish. Beverly will bring examples of this folk art. Attendees are encouraged to bring a favorite Christmas ornament for discussion.
