"Annual Picnic at Thunder Bridge"
September 9, 2012 - 2 p.m.
"When I Die, Bury Me Here"
Did you know that Blanche Call had her own custom dress form? Did you know that the museum has a beaded dress that weighs several pounds? This "fashion show" program will appeal to all ages as members and friends model or present clothing and accessories such as gloves, hats, and shoes. See our version of "Project Runway" mixed with local history.

Pack the picnic basket, grab a chair and head for Thunder Bridge. Enjoy food and conversation at this historic site listed in the National Register of Historic Places.  View  Ordway Mill artifacts removed from the Suncook River now on display at the bridge site. Beverages and dessert will be provided by the Historical Society.
Our third annual cemetery walk will take place at the Knowlton-Edgerly Cemetery, at the intersection of Horse Corner and Lane Roads. Members and friends of the Society will be in appropriate attire to interpret the lives of the distinguished deceased. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Refreshments will be served following the cemetery walk at the Chichester Historical Society's Museum at 49 Main Street.
