Capital Improvement Program Committee
Meeting Minutes 7:15 pm, September 22, 2009

A motion was made, seconded and voted to approve the minutes of the September 8 meeting as written.
The Committee reviewed the draft CIP report. Sections of the draft report had been written by each CIP Committee member then assembled and wordsmithed by Doug Hall.
The Committee discussed the dissenting opinion section of the CIP report to identify possible clarifications and possible rearrangement of the paragraphs and streamlining some sentences but the dissenter, Richard, chose to proceed with the original submission.
Committee members then discussed whether certain words should be capitalized, for example Committee, Town, Fire Department, and similar words. The Committee also adjusted the wording in some of the sections but did not change the intent of any of the individual sections or the report as a whole.
Lisa will make the adjustments to the CIP report and will distribute the Final Draft CIP Report to the Committee by Sept 25, 2009. Richard will check with Nancy or Jamie to determine whether the Town Hall is available for a Public Hearing October 15, 2009 at 7:00 PM. Richard will also ask Nancy or Jamie to provide approximately 25 paper copies of the Final Draft CIP Report for distribution to Department Heads, Selectmen, and other interested parties before the Public Hearing and also for the public that attends the Public Hearing.
